What a champion Dave has been for Sac State, his beloved Alma Mater.
For the last twelve years I have loved my visits with Dave, whether by phone or at campus events. Ever gracious and alway complimentary to the staff at the Alumni Relations office....he always ended the conversation with "You're all doing a great job there and keep up the important work". He loved Sac State and we dearly loved him! To his wonderful Jane and his big family, my deepest sympathy. He lived a full life and I will miss his friendship and counsel.

Dave will be so missed. He represented Mr. Sacramento State to me and I always enjoyed talking with him at Sacramento State Events. He has such a supporter of education and continued working to make the world a better place. I can only hope that I am as sharp and still full of life as he was in his 80s. My Heart and Sympathy to the entire Morse Family...What a Very Special Person Mr. Morse is and always will be. He was NOT just a Leader in the entire ELK GROVE community...But an Example to all who knew him...and a HERO to many of the Students who he gave advice and encouragement to. I will never forget one talk he gave to our class(1968) and at the end...He said "BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE! Thank you Mr. Morse you were so inspireing to many of us! May you RIP and in angels arms forever!
