NADING, Sr., Dennis C.
Dennis C. Nading, Sr., 65 of Elk Grove, CA. Beloved son, husband, brother, father, & grandfather passed away in Sacramento on March 9, 2012 from post-surgical complications.
He was born March 16, 1946 in Oelwein, Iowa and later became a longtime California resident. A graduate of Ramona High School, he later obtained an AA in business, and went on to be a significant contributor in a variety of businesses.
He served in the armored unit of the US Army as a Captain during the Vietnam war and among his many recognitions for bravery during service were the purple heart, bronze star and soldiers medal.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Nading, his brothers, John and Brian Nading, his sisters Meri Roonan, and Lori Nading-Felix, his son, Dennis Nading, Jr., his daughter, Denise Wolford, 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 40 years, Jane Anne Nading and by his father, Harold B. Nading.
The family would like to extend special thanks to friends Ralph and Teree Barber for their loving support of Dennis and the family.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 10th at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 3774 Jackson Street Riverside, California 92503. Rosary at 12:00 pm, mass at 12:30 pm.
Interment to follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:30 pm, Staging Area #322495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA 92518. A gathering for friends and family will be held immediately afterward.
