Doris Martin Obituary


MARTIN, Doris Clark
Passed away August 29, 2008 in Sacramento. Doris was born in McAlister, OK. January 26, 1929. She was a High School math teacher for San Juan Unified School District, she retired in January 1989. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1950, moved to Sacramento in 1951. She married Robert Martin in 1949. Doris leaves behind her daughter, Karen Daubert of Citrus Heights, CA., Grandchildren, Jennifer Martinez and Daniel Martinez, both of Sacramento, CA., sister, Dorothy Myers of Cocoa Beach, Fl. and Brother Roy Clark of Grand Rapids, MI. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert N. Martin and her parents, George and Myrtle Clark. Memorial Services will be on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Sierra View Funeral Chapel, 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd., Carmichael, CA 95608.

Karen, I will always remember your mom with great fondness and respect. She was a true lady in every way. I'm sorry I can't be there for you like you were for me when I lost my dad, but I will be thinking of you and your family. Our love and sympathy go to all of you.
