I will always have many wonderful memories from my childhood of the many experiences I had thanks to Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Jimmy. I know that they both enjoyed a long and very fulfilling life. It is comforting to know that they are together again.

Although I only knew Dorothy for a few short years, her influence on my life will persevere. I worked at Casa de Santa Fe in Rocklin, and Dorothy became a very dear friend to me. I introduced her to my family, and she always seemed to light up as she would talk about her own beloved ones. She told me so many stories about the joys and sorrows of her life, and advice about how to live mine. Dorothy was the epitome of kindness, grace, and had an incredible sense of humor. She was very supportive of me when I was pregnant with my now 15 month old daughter, and proclaimed that Siena would be her honorary great-grand daughter after she arrived. I am now in the Gerontology program at Sac State, and Dorothy was my main inspiration to work with older adults for the rest of my life. She just had so much wisdom to share, although I know there will never be another person I work with that I will connect to and care about as I did with Dorothy. I am very sorry for your loss. If I had known she passed away I would have come to her memorial and paid my respects as well. I can only hope that I can lead my life with a portion of the dignity and love that Dorothy did. I will miss her

I am so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. She was a wonderful person and a simply beautiful human being.
I worked for Dorothy and her husband at their company in Berkeley for several years in the early 1970's. While working with Dorothy, I lost my daughter to a drunk driver. Dorothy was very kind to me during that difficult time.

Your mother lived a long and fruitful life touching others with her goodness. She was a delight to be around with her sharp mind, great sense of humor and her graciousness.

She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have spent time with her.

My sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies.
