Edward St. Amour Obituary
July 23, 1939 - May 6, 2025
Sacramento, California - Edward James St. Amour, of Sacramento, CA, passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on July 23, 1939, Ed dedicated 50 years of his professional life to sales in the petroleum industry. Beyond his career, Ed had a deep passion for golf. He was a proud member of the Sunset Whitney Golf Club for 12 years and continued his involvement with the sport as a dedicated volunteer at Haggin Oaks Golf Course for 10 years until his health declined due to Parkinson's disease. Among his proudest achievements was becoming an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow, a distinction he cherished throughout his life. Ed is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judy Dotson St. Amour; his daughters, Christina St. Amour and Catherine St. Amour (Andrew Estopinal); his granddaughter, Emma Gunnells (Joseph); his sister, Julianne Conger; and his brothers, James St. Amour, and Michael St. Amour (Stephanie). He also leaves behind seven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward James St. Amour, Sr., and Helen St. Amour. A service to celebrate Ed's life will be held at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Saturday, May 31st, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ed's memory to the Parkinson's Association of Northern California, 1024 Iron Point Road, Folsom, CA, 95630.
