Long Beach, California - Sometimes a person is born into this world possessing so many gifts that they shine like a bright star. Heather was one such person. Her light, her warmth, her compassion, her thoughtfulness, her creativity, and her energy defined both a girl and a woman who were absolutely invested in the people she cared about and loved, and was much loved in return. Sadly, at some point, the force that powered her shining qualities began to diminish, and then ever so slowly, Heather's bright light began to fade. Ultimately, no amount of love, support, guidance or counsel could rekindle her spirit. Our family is absolutely devastated by the heart-breaking loss of a beautiful woman and a beautiful soul, daughter of Robert and Christine, mother of Olivia and Colt, wife of Ryan, aunt of Ariceli and Alexis, great-aunt of Adam, Milo, and Luna. Heather was 47 years-old when she passed away on October 10 as she slept. She will live in our thoughts and visit us in our dreams. An informal remembrance will be held on Thursday November 9 from 12 noon to 2 pm at the Harris family home, 11045 Grenache Way, E.G. 95624. Bring your memories; please, no alcohol.
