Howard Craddock Obituary



CRADDOCK, Howard
Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away February 8, 2005 at age 61. He was born on 7/13/1943 in St. Louis, MO. He served in the Army. He met his loving wife Glenda in 1961, and they married in 1963. They settled down in San Jose, CA where they lived for 20 years. He owned and operated Pine Cone Termite Company for many years. He retired for medical reasons and relocated to Sacramento in 1982, where he enjoyed dabbling in various projects and playing "Mr. Entrepreneur". His greatest joys came from his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Glenda of 41 years, and his three daughters and their spouses, and 6 grandchildren. They are: Kristy her husband Ron & their children, Jacob & Jordan; Gaylea and her husband George & their children, Bryan & Kayla; Renee and her husband Gary & their children, Caleb & Chelsea. Extended family, Jeff his wife Tracy & their children James & Chyanna; Tim and his wife Vivian & their children T.J., & Dylan; Dusky and her husband Robert & their children Alexis & Jacob; Debbie and her children Larry & Jeremy. Also survived by sister Leona and husband Eugene, brother Jerry and wife Nancy, sister Kathy and husband Tony, brother in law Danny and his wife Ginger. Sister in law Terry. Many nieces and nephews, and a lot of good friends. Anyone who knew Howard, knew he loved life, his family and friends. Howard lived life to the fullest. He would say "when the Lord came for me he would pull up in a pick-up truck and say, Hop in, we're going to the big house". Visitation today 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd. Funeral Service to take place Saturday, February 12, at 2:30 in the Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, with interment at South East Lawn Memorial Park.

Kristy- I know how much your Dad was in your life and how much he have given you. I hope your sadness now will lessen from all the wonderful memories you have. Your Dad lived a great life, and you, Ron, Jacob, Jordan and all your family were what was important to him. My thoughts are with you all. Love Kathy
