James BARNES Obituary

James R. Barnes 79 of Auburn went home to be with our Lord on Saturday the 13th of November. Jim was born May 17, 1931 in Iowa City, IA. He is survived by his children Karen Key, Diane McGoey, Russell Decker, Janet Jay-DeGraw, Marty Decker, 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren. Jim is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Carol Barnes, parents Rollin & Carrie Barnes along with his brother Jack Barnes. A duel Memorial Service for both Jim and Carol is to be held at the Parkside Nazarene Church in Auburn, CA on Nov. 16th at 10:30 am. Please contact Parkside Nazarene Church for more details. Met Jim in 1968 as he introduced me to Eastman Kodak Health Sciences Division in Fresno, California.
Marge's and my memories go back to Jim's incredible knowledge and recall of old music tunes from the 40's,50's and 60's. What a fun time we had together four of us singing at Kodak dinner parties. Certain he is singing songs in Heaven with his wife Carol
