His children would like recognize the Miranda, Chavez, Orta, Maivia, Lopez and Rossi family. Rest in Heaven to the greatest dad. Service delayed due to covid 19 restrictions.

Everytime I drive by the old neighborhood in Southside Park. You are one that I look forward running into. We had great times living next door to each other for a century. We seen the good and bad growing up from one another. I remember how much you loved your dogs especially Duke, I'll remember yelling James! because no one is going to open your gate and walk up those tall stairs at your house. When we were little we hanged out swimming at Southside Park Pool in the summertime, played basketball and jogged around the park, it was the age of innocent and so memorable. As we grew older, you were never a club person but loved going to the local bars (Pelican Club, Monte Carlo Club). I am going to miss you my friend, May God rest your soul and don't forget to say hi to my dad KC.

My condolences to the Ramirez Family.
It has been years since I last spoke with James. But I'd to share some of my thoughts on what I remember about James. Anyone who grew up in Southside Park knew James, he made sure of that!
He could be seen in the park either walking or riding his bike with some of most beautiful dogs around (Kamikaze was my favorite). His infectious smile would light up any place he entered. His quick wit and sense of humor is unforgettable. Back in the day we would cap on each other relentlessly. So much fun because he was really good at it, that fool was funny. James was one of the most competitive people I knew. Whether it off the high dive with his signature buttercup, swimming, water polo or on the basketball court. James would not be denied because of the size of his heart!
James will always be remembered because he is and will always be one those people that we tell stories about when we share our memories of our life in Southside Park.
May our faith in God ease the pain in our heart.

James was the best cousin a little girl could wish for. As we grew up he always greeted us with a smile and a hug . He was , loving and would always make you laugh . The world lost a beautiful soul, but heaven gained the best angel ❤ Miss you cousin.
