To the whole Yelland family from the Elliot family, we will miss him; yet never forget the wonderful family memories we all had together growing up. Our Dad, Dave, and Jim are together now, only a couple of months in passing, two lifelong friends who we hope are playing football together.
Which gives us great comfort at this time.

I was sorry to read of Jim's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at PT&S for several years. Such a kind gentleman he was. My prayers are with you, his family.

Jim Yelland was a good man who our family will always hold close to our hearts. He believed in my dad Shorty and my mom Juanita and for that the Lopez family will always be grateful and never forget him. Thank you Jim Yelland.

Uncle Jim also known as "Uncle Slick" was a favorite uncle to me. When I was about 8 years old he took me to see the USAF Air Show at former Sacramento Airport (Now executive airport). I will never forget that day - it was fun and he was great to take me.

Jim will be greatly missed. He was a great friend, a mentor and someone I have
always looked up to. He had a way of saying things so profound I will never forget. Heaven is now a better place.

Jim and I went to school together from the 1st grade through high school. We attended UC Davis together and were in the same fraternity. Jim was smart and fun to be around. You liked being with him. He was one of the good guys.
