Janet ARNOLD Obituary
ARNOLD, Janet R.
Born June 29, 1937 to Gladys & Roland Huff in Allegan MI, Jan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Octo ber 21st. She is survived by her husband Tom of 49 years, daughters Jennifer Jump (Chet), Heather Littell (Bruce), Theresa Arnold (Tom Williams), Malia Arnold & Amy Thomas (Paul), brother Richard Huff (Beverly), grandchildren Kyla (Jay), John Paul, Jake (Suzanne), Lisa Marie, Patrick, Blake, Shannon & Nick, great grandchildren Makayla & Jamison. Jan graduated from Michigan State in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Retailing and obtained her first job in Cincinnati, Ohio. She met and married Tom in 1960. Two years later, Tom returned to the Air Force and they were transferred to Hawaii. They also lived in So. California, Florida, Okinawa and retired in Sacramento. Jan remained close to her sorority, Phi Mu, through the Alumni Association, was a 30 year member of the Traditional Jazz Society and an active member of the Sacramento Mustang Club for 15 years. Her hobbies were dancing, antique doll collecting and traveling with Tom on Dixieland Jazz cruises. Friends are invited to Jan's Memorial on November 14th at 2:15 pm at Lions Gate, 3410 Westover Street. Sacramento (McClellan Park) 95652. The family request that donations to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org) be considered.
