Independence, Kansas - Jimmy Edwards Jr. born on October 26, 1971 in Sacramento California, Jimmy passed away on June 27, 2021, in Independence Kansas.
Survived by wife Katherine Edwards, two daughters Gabrielle and Abigayle Kirby, parents Penny and Jimmy Edwards Sr., brother Daniel Edwards (Kimber), nephew Blake Edwards, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jimmy graduated Hiram Johnson High School in 1989. Shortly after high school Jimmy moved to Kansas, followed in his Dads footsteps and became a correctional officer. He then transferred to Newton, Iowa. In his 40's Jimmy decided to change careers and work for AT&T as a Field Tech.
Jimmy was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed going to games as well as fishing and golfing with his father and nephew. Jimmy will be remembered for always being the life of the party and making everyone around him smile and laugh.
Family and friends, please join us in celebrating the life of Jimmy Edwards Jr. at the Dante Club 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd Sacramento, CA 95825 July 22 from 3:00pm-8:00pm.
