PETERSON, JoAnn R.
Passed from this life to join our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at home in Orangevale, CA. Born, JoAnn Rozella MisKimen in Sioux Falls, SD, September 6, 1929. JoAnn's engaging personality and keen wit will be long remembered by her family and friends. She is loved and remembered by her four children; Heide Peterson of Manhattan Beach, CA, Jon and wife Karen Peterson of Granite Bay, CA, Tina and husband Daniel Alhona of Citrus Heights, CA, Marie and husband Christian Houge of Folsom, CA. JoAnn is also survived by her Mother, Leola Belle Shryock, brothers Richard Shryock, Jim Shryock, and sister Suelyn Kolwalski. Grandchildren; Derrick, Bill, Brandie, Natasha, Kristi, and Kylie, and six great grandchildren; Bo, Billy, Zachary, Sara, Dylan, and Faith, and her precious kitty cat PK. JoAnn reminded us all very much of PK, in the way that she unquestionably had the gift of nine lives. We are comforted in knowing that our Mother is at peace. A graveside memorial is planned for 1pm, December 19, 2005, at Lakeside Memorial Lawn in Folsom, CA. A celebration of our Mother's life will be held at Jon's house from 3-6pm.
