John Boudier Obituary

Beloved son of the late Ed and Evelyn (Cline) Boudier, born in Sacramento on March 11, 1944, passed away unexpectedly during the morning hours of Feb. 22, 2017 in his home. Diagnosed with esophageal cancer, he was to begin chemo and radiation treatments on Feb 27th. John is survived by his loving daughter Julie Dee Boudier Hill, sisters Constance & Dorothy and brother Bill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his special friends Don Woolcott and Dan & Sue Goe. John graduated from Bishop Armstrong High School in 1962. He was very athletic, enjoying competitive bike racing and playing senior league softball into his later years. His many other gifts included being a successful real estate investor, an expert appraiser and collector of antiques, an estate liquidator and a professional auctioneer, donating his lively auctioneering talent to benefit several good causes in the greater Sacramento area. At the direction of his widow, John's burial was held without any services, eulogy or reception. His family held a celebration of his life in the home of his niece, Michelle Boudier Raley and her husband Dan on March 18th. Please make contributions in John's memory to The Gathering Inn Shelter Project, PO Box 297 Roseville, CA 95678

Missing you so much
You never said Iam leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before everyone knew it
and only God knows why
In life I loved you dearly
In my heart I hold a place that only you
can fill
It broke my heart to lose you
but you didn't go alone
A part of me went with you
and someday I will be with you again
Miss you so very much everyday I think of you and all the great times we shared together
Love your one & only Daughter Julie

Knowing John this past year and a half has been an honor. He was a wonderful guy, we always had great conversations at the bank about his Buicks, the world today and life in general. He spoke proudly of his wife and family often. Im sorry for your loss.

Thank you John for taking me under your wing when I was just a kid (early 70's) and showing me some great bike rides in the Pocket (before development) and on to Clarksburg. You always had such a great attitude and that big smile. We seemed to run into each other every 10 years or so and it always brought back warm memories for me. Rest in peace my friend.

I was honored to always be considered as family by the Boudiers. As an ex-wife but forever friend of Johnny's I was truly saddened when I learned of his passing. Thank you for including me in the celebration of life for Johnny. It was wonderful to connect with the family again. I know your hearts are broken and I pray that God will hold you close to Him during this time of grieving to comfort you and ease the pain. RIP Johnny. You take a part of my heart with you.
