Sacramento, California - A memorial service for John Burl Wiley, 58, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 24 at Trinity Cathedral, 2620 Capital Ave.
John died on May 1. He grew up in Sacramento, attending David Lubin Elementary, Sutter Junior High, and Sacramento High School, where he was a member of the class of 1984. He worked as a technician on heating and cooling systems for large buildings.
He is survived by his father, Walter Wiley, and a sister, Mary Smith (Tim), both of Sacramento, and by a daughter, Manda Wiley of Oregon and a son, Dylan, daughter-in-law Giovana, and four grandsons all of Maine. His wife, Robin, preceded him in death.
Memorial contributions to River City Food Bank would be welcomed.

Robin wad a dear friend. And John became just as dear. We both lost the loves of our lives on April 28, 1 year apart. John came to Bakersfield to stay with me for awhile. I was hoping we could help one another through our great losses. I knew John had returned to work too soon. And was struggling. I love John as I love Robin. And am so sad to lose him so soon. But know too, Robin was waiting for him to rejoin her, this time in Heaven. God Bless them, and my dear husband Vic too. My heart goes out to your family.
