Brice Carter Laughlin

Brice Carter Laughlin, Born on January 23, 1943, in Peru, Indiana, passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 83. He was a resident of Georgetown, Texas.

Brice was adopted at the age of five by Prof. Herman Gleyn and Ruth Foland Laughlin of West Lafayette, Indiana. When he was adopted, the Laughlin's lived in Battle Ground, Indiana where he enjoyed his free time at the Tippecanoe Battlefield Park in his own backyard. He also sang in the Battle Ground Methodist Church Choir.

Brice graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1961. He attended one year at Purdue University before joining the Air Force he was stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

Brice was General Manager at Mission Linen Supply until 2003 when he retired after being in the Linen Business for almost forty years. He worked at several plants in California (Santa Maria, Oxnard, Santa Ana, Morro Bay, Oceanside, and Sacramento) and at plants in Clarksville, TN. Huntington, WV. Macon, GA. Fort Lauderdale, FL. and Grand Prairie, TX.

Brice was a kind and gentle person, always helping someone with any problem or finding them a place to live, even in our home. He hired a person one time, and the guy didn't have a way to work so Brice bought him a bicycle.

Brice was our Bar-B-Que King - always a good time when he was in charge.

Brice is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Bobbie Laughlin (Olson) of Georgetown, TX. His Children, Jeannine Martinez, Wildomar, CA. Darren Laughlin, Wildomar/Oceanside, CA. His grandchildren Marty Laughlin, Santa Maria, CA. Anjelina and Freddy Vargas of Wildomar, CA. Step-children Jim Olson (suzanne) Vancouver, WA. John Olson (Courtney) Georgetown, TX. step-grandchildren John and David Olson of Portland, OR. Jessie Olson, Vancouver, WA. Michael Olson, Austin TX. several great-grandchildren. His sister Lavonne Amstutz, Noblesville, Indiana. several nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents Prof. Herman Gleyn and Ruth Foland Laughlin.

At his request there will be no services. Neptune Society is honored to serve the family.
