CAPRA, Joseph Wilson

Resident of Sacramento.
Joseph (Joe) Capra, preceded in death by his wife Jane Capra of 66 years and son-in-law David Gillette, passed away on January 3, 2011 at the age of 95. He is survived by son John Capra, daughter Judith (Capra) Gillette and daughter-in-law JoAnne Capra. Joe will also be remembered and missed by his 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. Joe was born and raised in Sacramento and attended Sacramento High School. Joe was a pioneer in the auto parts business. He started his automotive career in 1934 at Ellsworth Harold Ford. In 1947 Joe started Master Motor Parts on Broadway and soon became one of the areas largest auto supply companies with branches through out the Sacramento area. Joe spent his time after retirement in 1981, fishing, gardening and most of all looking forward to family gatherings. Joe was a special person that will always be remembered by all who knew him as an honest and loyal friend that you could always trust and count on. He will be missed in our minds and hearts forever. I was saddened to learn of Joe's passing. Joe was one of my favorite people in all of this world. I was his first employee at Master Motor Parts in 1947. He was my mentor as well as my good friend. He was a mavelous person.
Please know he's with GOD now.
