Joyce SCRIBNER Obituary
Age 94, of Sacramento, CA passed away Sunday, June 17. Beloved mother to Mark Jr, Marsha, and the late Richard Scribner. Loving grandmother to Kim Portner, Mark Scribner III, Chuck DeSylva, Tony Villacres, Chris Andicochea, Mitchell Scribner and Taylor Scribner. Adored by her 10 great-grandchildren, Sutter, Cade, Abbie, Avery, Roman, Jonathan, Christopher, Joey, Esther, and Zac. A unique and extraordinary woman; an experimental artist and gifted writer. She pursued and earned her Bachelor's of Arts degree in 'English Literature' at the age of 64 and provided many years of volunteer work with 'English as a second language' students. A memorial service is planned for the family and internment will be at the Masonic Lawn Cemetery, 2700 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, CA (date and time to be arranged). She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

To my one-of-a-kind Grandma. You were very special to me and I cherished every moment with you. Your spirit will live in my heart always. I will miss you greatly, but take great joy in knowing how close we were, how many special moments we spent together and the love we shared. Your great grandaughter was blessed to have known you for your kindness, laughter and wonderful smiles. We love you Grandma and know that you were welcomed into heaven by many friends and family including your little boy, Ricki. See you heaven my sweet Grandma.
