MURDOCK, Jr., Keith
Passed away on May 17, 2008, in Sacramento at the age of 21. Beloved son of Tamara (Carlos) Abeyta and Keith (Larea) Murdock Sr. Loving grandson of Patricia Hansen, great-grandson of Kolleta and Jack Pawledge. Dear brother of his twin sister Megan, Vinnette, Everett, and Christopher. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 22, 2008, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. in the RIVER CITIES FUNERAL CHAPEL. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, May 23, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Private inurnment. Memorials preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Oh Keith, how I miss you. You know, don't you why I didn't attend your services?!?!?! Two days before you left us I saw you in the park from a distance...as you strained to see if it was me...I strained to see if it was you...and at the same time we both said to ourselves...hell yeah that's who I think it is!!! You yelled MOM! and we ran up to each other...your face was painted white and you had messed up your "clown" face and wanted me to fix the make up for you. You picked me up and swung me around while my feet were at least two feet off the ground, it was a good moment because in spite of the smeared make up and the numbness you felt that day...you had the biggest smile I've seen in such a long time...a smile that has one of those pristine stars on it when you see your perfect white teeth.

That, my friend, my "adopted" son is what I wanted and still want to remember of you.

Don't worry my boy, (and for the REAL MOM, please don't take offense to me calling him son)I will fix your make up when I get there.

We love you and miss you soooooooooo much. Keep smiling...but know that when I get there...I'm gonna whoop your butt in a dice game I've been preparing for!!!!!

Where do I begin...

I've thought about what I want to say since grandma told me about this guestbook, but their is so much... Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love keith... I have seen the best of him and the worst, and let me tell you their both fun sides... He goes by many, but few names... When he was being all sweet and lovey I called him keith. when we were hanging at the kings or he was moody i called him bump. When he was loud and proud and as out their as can be, that was my boogie man... I'll never forget the day I accidentally introduced boogie to my boss, instead of keith... He was as sweet as can be, but did the boogie dance and made my assistant manager cry... i shrugged, what could i say, it's the boogieman and I loved everyside of him... Not a day goes by that I don't wonder how life would have been had we gotten married, I thank his entire family, both natural and juggalo, for always making me feel welcomed and loved... Bump...I don't even know where to begin. I am going to miss you like crazy. No more stopping by the house for a few minutes or stopping in at school to see all of us. I won't be able to tell you that you need to shave those stubs off your face again or hear you say Hi Aunt Ronda. What are we going to do without you?
