Lillian Irene Eggerss

1926 - 2018

Lillian Irene Eggerss, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on March 29 at the age of 91. She was born in Elk Horn, Iowa in May of 1926, graduated from the Nurses Cadet Corp in 1948, married Bob Eggerss in 1948, and resided in Lincoln, CA. Everyone who met Lillian was touched by her kindness, warmth, and generosity. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile that was infectious. She was a nurturer, taking care of those around her physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her faith and the love of others sustained her in life. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and will live in the hearts of many friends and family. She will be greatly missed by her brother, Howard and wife, Karma; her daughter, Connie Klein and husband, Jim; and her daughter, Candice Eggerss and husband, Steve Beck. She will be forever remembered by her granddaughters, Diane and Kelly; their husbands, Jeff and Barry; their three children, Natalie, Braden and Kenna; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and their son, Bob, Jr. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 5901 Lonetree Blvd., Rocklin, CA 95765 followed by a reception at the church.
