Lorene Amado Obituary
In Sacramento, on December 28, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Amado, Lorene is lovingly survived by her children, Jolene Eveland, Gary Amado and Bruce Amado. Daughter of the late Oscar & Hilma Ekstrom, she was preceded in death by sisters Myrtle Weston, Adaline Engstrom and brothers Verne Ekstrom & Clifford Ekstrom. She is the cherished grandmother of Michael, Joseph & Christopher Amado; Jonathan Amado & Wyly Steves, as well as great-grandmother of Abigail Steves. She is also the loving aunt of Loraine Devine, Gail Fox, Lee Ekstrom, Kirt & Kent Ekstrom and Jenene Jepsen, and is also survived by numerous grand nieces & nephews. A native of St. Paul, MN, she was an 83 year resident of Sacramento, aged 91. Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Celebration of her life on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2002, at 11 :00am, at East Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 43rd St. & Folsom BI., Sacramento. Arrangements, W.F. Gormley & Sons.
