CERVANTES, Luis
'Grandpa'
Born at Ft. Hancock, Texas. He entered into peace at the age of 90, on Dec. 22, 2013 surrounded by family & friends.
Preceded in death by wife Gloria, son Manuel and grandson Mikey.
He is survived by his wife Natalia Martinez-Cervantez and children; sister Enedina Salcido; son Luis Jr. (Esther); daughters Carmen and Emily; over 50 grand, great and great great grandchildren and many more who called him 'Dad' and 'Grandpa.'
Retired from Del Paso School District after more than 30 years. He was known for his devotion to family and Catholic Faith. He was also known for his patience, humor and wisdom. He loved to dance, play his accordion and harmonica.
Funeral Service at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at 1717 El Monte Ave., Sacto. Viewing from 10:00am-11:25am; Rosary at 10:15am; Mass at 11:30am, followed by burial at St Mary's Cemetery.
