Martin Crane Obituary

CRANE, Martin Allen

Son of George & Isabel Crane, born in Sacramento on December 15, 1946, lost his valiant fight to Leukemia on April 29th and returned to our Heavenly Father. Marty was a wonderful, caring, loving husband and father of whom we deeply miss. He is survived by (wife) Leoma Crane, (mother) Isabel Crane, (brother) Steve Crane, (sister) Linda Yuba, (daughter) Christina Crane, (step children) Darrell, Donna, Brian & Brenda, and eight grandchildren. Dr. Crane held his private practice of dentistry for 32 years on Madison Ave. after completing schooling in San Francisco. His many patients have missed his gentle & caring ways since medical conditions forced him into early retirement last year. As a devoted Christian he gave much of his time in order to spread the word of God through Bible Study Fellowship groups for over 20 years. He also enjoyed being an usher at Sunrise Community Church. A Celebration of His Life will be lead by long time spiritual advisor and friend Pastor Rich Sherman on Friday May 2nd @ 10:00 AM @ Sunrise Community Church. 8321 Greenback Ln. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to The American Cancer Society

My prayers and well wishes are with the Crane family. It is small comfort to those of us that remain, knowing that Martin was called home, but we'll see him again. Martin was a kind and gentle man and a really great person. I was his patient for many years and my mother worked for him for over 20 yrs. Just know that our lives were better for having him in it.

I wish that your heartache and pain could be eased by words of advice, but no words or advice can do that. Marty was a great man. I am sorry for your loss.
