My dearest Wanda and Theresa:
I cannot begin to share with you our depth of sorrow for the loss of Mike. He was such an artist in his craft and such a darling child.
I feel sure that his grandparents, dad and Jackie are engaged in conversation of praise and comfort.

To Mike's family, although we have not met he spoke of you often. He talked to me a lot about his wife, he told me you worked in the worker's comp industry and how knowlegeable you were about the laws and regulations. He talked to me about his daughter and how they used to go to the races together. He talked about when he could drive again he would get that camaro running and once again go to the races with his daughter and race.
He was very proud of all of you and loved you dearly.
I was stunned to hear that Mike was gone.
I considered him a friend and an inspiration. I know that I am blessed to have been able to know Mike and will miss talking to him and hearing his stories.
Mike also reminds me that we all have to struggle to find what really is important to us and to never take anything for granted. That each day is a gift, each friend a treasure, each life special.

To my Godmother: I am sad to have heard just today of your loss. I have many fond memories of our families spending time together. I was close to both Mike and Tim so many years ago, I unfortunately lost contact over the years with all of you. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Wanda,

I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Although you do not know me, my family was close to the Cooke family when we were growing up. My father was Jim Currin and my mother was Shirley or Yoshi. I have a brother Bill and a sister, Sue.

I can remember going over to the Cooke's house and having a blast over there playing with Mike and his brothers. There were fields to explore and lots of things to do.

We lost touch with the Cooke family and would love to get connected with Noreen again. If she wants, she can call me at 916-961-3394.

Wanda, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.
