Dear "Sheila Kay" and family, I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Paul and I were just talking about Mike the other day. We didn't know until today. April 13, 2013. I went to the Newcastle Cemetery to pay my respects to a good friend who passed away last Feb 2012. As I was walking to his site, I was stunned and so saddened to see Mikes headstone. I am so sorry Sheila. He was the kindest man. And you the sweetest lady in the world. Love you guys so much. Huggs to you. And may God Bless you and your beautiful family. Love Sheila "Kay" and Paul Morlas

We miss you every day and long to hear your voice, talk with you, laugh with you, and share our dreams. You touched our family with your friendship and we will be forever connected in so many ways. We will never forget your last days, your courage and strength. Even in your last hours you taught us so much and gave us hope for the eternities. Those memories sustain us in our grief, and we know we will see you again one day. Until then, our dear friend, we fight the good fight, and keep the faith!. We love you Mike!

Love,
The Peterson Family

P.S. Keep an eye on Scott for us! :)

Oh my Papason~
I had no idea when the day would come we lost you in this life, that you would remain so close and be as much if not more a part of every day as before. My heart aches and tears still fall, but how blessed I am to feel you with me often, to hear your counsel on the sweet hum of sacred silence, to know you are with my children even now. I could not love you more, or be more grateful for the knowledge as sure as the light of day that we are an eternal family, set for a celestial future brighter than the sun. You teach me still, something new so often.
You are now and will always be my number one. All I want is to make you proud and return to you with the same grace as you showed all of us is possible.
My daddy, my role model, my best friend - until we skip together again.
I love you.
Your Nicoli

Howdy!
Dad, you would just love the cowboy photos we took of the kids this week! They would make you proud- definitely "howdy" worthy:) They were certainly imitating Grandpa's hearty howdys! I can't hardly believe we are coming up on the year anniversary. I miss you Dad #2! Just like mom says, your legacy continues...
Love you always!

Although we didn't see you in person very often, we love you and felt your love back. Our last visit with you, when you came to see us in AZ, was a wonderful and happy time. A great memory for us to hold. Keep up the work I know you're enjoying and we will see you again some day. Maybe even in a Shelby Mustang with a wolf whistle....(((smile))) Love You

We are coming up to Mike's first year mark of leaving this frail existence. Days are filled with such memories of love, gratitude, thankfulness, and yes, tears. Life without this beautiful man right by my side has been a journey I wish I did not have to take... I know that you are happy sweetheart, I know that you are as excited as me to one day hold me in your arms and never, never having to let go again. You and me kid....Forever and for always.. I love you more today then ever before... You have left a legacy behind that has changed so many lives forever. Your children adore you and miss you so. We are all keeping your memory alive with our beautiful 6 grand children... They share often stories how you come to them. Out of the mouth of babe's. They are teaching us. I love you for all Eternity and beyond...Sheila

I remember being a young boy and visiting your family. I was so impressed with you as a father. You went out of your way to make me feel welcomed. I remember you telling me how "the who" It's was your favorite band and how one time you set so close they sweat on you. And before I left you gave me a 1987 topps baseball set missing one common card. Took me 2 years to find that card and I still have it all today. Love you and miss you uncle Mike.

Thank you Mike for your love and friendship. You left a legacy of courage and kindness as you fought your battle with cancer that will always be an example for all of us. Our children will never forget the love and guidance you gave them through the years of our friendship. Even in your last hours you brought us all comfort and strength with your words. Now that you have joined our son, Scott, on the other side, I know that your love and frienship with our family continues. You will be greatly missed by everyone you left behind, but our faith will sustain us until we meet again dear friend...

Mike was truly one of a kind. He was a role model to all. Throughout my entire work history, I have never had a boss like Mike. He led by example; he was fair and kind; he worked hard and with integrity. I don't have enough words to express my admiration and adoration for him. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to know him. My prayers go out to his family.

Dear Sheila and family,

John and I wish we could be with you today instead of dealing with my medical issues.

We are grateful for the years we've known each other and the wonderful conversations we have shared. It was so good to be with you, Sheila, and Mike for breakfast in your home last August. (The last trip to CA and long distance travel I have been able to make.)

It is in God's hands and always has been. You have loving family and friends to surround you. Please know that we are here for you and continue to pray for you.

With love,

Julie, John, J.T. & Courtney

Mike was a dear friend and co-worker. He took a personal interest in the success of all of his employees. His standard of ethics and personal values was a model for others. He frequently spoke of his love for his family and was so proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by many people whose lives he enriched.

Mike was one of the greatest men I have ever known. Our friendship was built during long work evenings at our prior company. He set an example for me, and he taught me that you work until the job is done and done well. He was a dedicated employee, a fantastic friend, a faithful, devoted husband, and such a proud father and grandfather. I have known his children, through Mike mostly, for over 20 years. Nicole, Shelby, and Chad, your dad was very proud of all 3 of you. Sheila, Mike always called you his beautiful wife, and he always spoke of you with such respect and adoration. He was so proud of his 6 grandchildren too. He loved and adored all of you so.
I miss his Spirit. When Mike walked into a room, somehow, the room became better, lighter.
I miss his sense of humor. We loved making each other laugh, and even during the last weeks; he still laughed.
I miss his laugh, his voice, his heart, and his beautiful Spirit.
I MISS YOU MICHAEL NOAKES.
I will always be here for his family. Losing such a beautiful part of your life will be difficult, but try to be good to yourself, and please let me know if I can do anything. Love to you all.
