I am saddened to learn of Mike's passing. I knew him from Jr.High and High School. Always got A's and B's in school. A very bright guy. I remember playing football with him and some of the local neighborhood kids a few times at Bexley Park in South Euclid, actually, not far from his house, if my memory serves me right. He was a great guy. I had heard he had become a prominent Nureosurgeon. I'm sure he must have been a fabbulous doctor.
My condolences to the rest of the family.

Dear Margo and family
My sympathies go to your family for the loss of a great man and surgeon. While my Mom and Dad were alive I remember many visits to Dr. Robbins office. Dr Robbins did two surgeries on my Dad. I remember Fran Dowell recommending him as the best neurosurgeon in the area and boy was she right. He was gentle but very funny and serious when he needed to be and very skilled. I always remember looking at the photos in his office of his beautiful family and he always talk about them with such proudness. May God give you strength ,love and wonderful memories to get through this tragedy.
Love, Linda & JJ Wren

I am so shocked to learn of Dr, Robnins death. I worked for him for almost 10 years. He had a great sense of humor and was a very generous person- always taking wonderful care of his employees needs. The many wonderful bonus's he gave me over the years allowed my family and I to have many joyous and memorable holidays. He could come across as brusk to some - but he was a big softy when you got to know him. I loved working for him and came to view our office as family. I'm so shocked he has passed away. I'm so sorry Margo for your loss. He talked so much and was so proud of his children.
He was a gifted surgeon and wonderfully generous and kind man. So sad to hear of his passing.

Dear Robbins Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I was a patient of Dr. Robbins and last November he operated on my back and completely cured me of excruciating nerve pain. The pain had robbed me of all the things I loved to do in life, and had rendered me an invalid at age 60. Within weeks of the operation I was pain free and able to resume all my normal activities, including riding my beloved horses. I told Dr. Robbins how grateful I was that he had given me my life back, and I thanked God every day that I had the good fortune to have Dr. Robbins as my surgeon. At this sorrowful time for you, I hope my story gives you comfort. He was my hero, and I will never forget him.

To The Family of Dr.Robbins, We were saddened to read about Dr. Robbins. In 2002 I was a Kaiser patient and needed a second opinion on having brain surgery because of spinal fluid leaking out my ear. He advised me to have the surgery or I would eventually get meningitis that would probably be fatal. I will never forget that day and him taking the time to advise me. His kindness will never be forgotten. Our prayers go out to all his family and friends. Sincerely, George & Norma Tonis

Margo, Brad, Zach and Erica,

What can I say about Mike Robbins? He was a family man and a very dedicated husband, father and most recently a grandfather. He loved his family and his family loved him back.

Park Terrace would not have been the same without the Robbins family. I remember even when you had no children swimming, you still came to the meets. I remember when Erica swam her last race as a penguin. You resumed your position as starter for your daughter and that brought a smile to my face. I could tell that Erica was so proud to have you as a father.

You went above and beyond for your family and friends and you certainly will be missed. My thoughts are with the Robbins family.

It is not often that you find such good people on this earth like Dr. Mike ROBBINS. I can honestly say without any conviction in my heart that he was a caring thoughtful human being . Dr. Micheal Robbins had a heart of gold. My most blessed and pleasurable memories i can remember was when he would call DR'S BARAD AND HOWELL'S office for whatever reason I would answer the telephone and no matter how stressful my day might have been , something he would say to make the sun shine a little brighter , even on a rainy day. I can say for sure for the past 18 years he has been my good friend, I am going to miss him dearly.

Sincere, blessings Marshela Office Manager to Dr.Steven J. Barad Dr. Stephen M. Howell

Dear ROBBINS FAMILY: My husband Jeff & I wish to express our sincere condolences on the passing of your loved one ... we loved him, too, albeit in a professional capacity. Jeff & I met Dr. Robbins in 2000 when I was experiencing severe L4-5 pain. At that time we learned he was a swimming enthusiast. With nonstop humor & trademark reggae cap, as I was wheeled into the OR, my fear had morphed into extreme confidence. Mere months later, Jeff & I achieved one of our goals -- climbing the Sydney Harbor Bridge in anticipation of the Olympic Games. Dr. Robbins was aware of our effusive gratitude, but we felt it important to share with you now. His skill, wit & laughter made A Dream Come True! Please accept our appreciation & prayers as you mourn his mortal loss. JAN & JEFF FLOAT

Words cannot express the grief that I know everyone is feeling. My husband had surgery from Dr. Robbins and received outstanding care. He was a master at his profession. I did sit next to his wife at the hospital the day of my husbands surgery because she was there with their friends wife while Dr. Robbins did his surery first. ( the dentist) . The dentist wife had nothing but great things to share about Dr. Robbins. She told me to call him " The King"
I was also in his office the day his wife and grandson and family came by for a visit..I could tell by his smile how much he loved having a grandchild..I'm so saddened by his passing..it pains me to know the great loss his family is feeling..may God give you comfort today and the days to come..much love to each one of you.

It was with disbelief that I learned of the passing of Doc Robbins. For more than 15 years, I considered Mike not only as my friend, but also as my doctor. Mike made a significant impact on my life as, were it not for his skill as a surgeon, my life would have been remarkably different. His healing hands gave me the ability to live a normal and painfree life, and I will be forever grateful. I shall miss him on the golf course and in life.

I only knew Dr. Robbins for a short time. I met him in March of this year. My need for surgery happened very quickly and he came so highly recommended and was everything I heard him to be. I was very scared and he helped me and my family to not worry about the surgery or the recovery. He made my family so comfortable during the surgery as well as after while I was in recovery. I speak for me and my family when I say he will be missed. He was a wonderful person and a wonderful surgeon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
