to mitzi's family/my dad's dear friends.... i am the youngest daughter of larry fong. i had the pleasure of getting to know mitzi, on many ocassions, long ago, when she worked for my dad, larry fong, at saving's corner market, in loomis. i know he thought of her as family and more of a friend than an employee. i remember visiting the store, feeling a bit like an outsider, since we actually lived in sacramento.. but a good chinese meal cooked by grandpa, a candy bar and a comic book issued by my dad, and a quick smile with kind words from mitzi always made me feel right at home. thank you for sharing such a special lady with us all...laureen

Takahashi family: You probably don't remember me, but I'm the oldest daughter of Larry Fong, one of the owners of Savings Corner Market. I have so many fond memories of both Shig & Mitzi, whom my Dad treasured as dear friends. Sending you my heartfelt condolences & prayers.
