Elizabeth ''Betty''
nee Miller
Died peacefully on January 24, 2007 at the age of 84 in Northridgeville, Ohio. A 50 year resident of Sacramento and Pine Brook Village in Folsom, Betty founded the Pine Brook Theatre Group writing, directing, or acting in over 25 productions. A member of Clowns of America, Betty lifted spirits clowning around as Pokie Dot and Kaliope Kate. She also enjoyed woodcarving, traveling, and time with her husband and partner of nearly 40 years, D.L. ''Dusty'' Rhodes, who preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Margaret ''Peggy'' Janes. Betty relocated to Ohio in 1998 and married Walter Glick, Sr. and resided in Lorain and Avon Lake. Betty is survived by her husband, Walter Glick Sr. of Avon Lake; her daughter Carol Geren of Hilo, Hawaii; stepdaughter Jane and stepsons Douglas and Walter Glick Jr.; nephews Jack, Richard, and Samuel Miller, Ed Becker, niece Ruth Jewel and their families who will all miss her love and laughter. A memorial service is planned for February in Lorain, Ohio, and her final resting place will be in Santa Rosa, CA. Online condolences can be sent to www.boyer-cool.com.
