Opal Achison Obituary


ACHISON, Opal C. (Cramer)
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. Opal was born in Eva, OK., on March 1, 1922 and died at her home on April 21, 2006 from pancreatic cancer. Opal was a homemaker and moved to California's bay area in 1942. She has resided in the Sacramento area the last 25 years. Opal was a loved member of Church of the First Born in Sacramento. Opal was preceded in death by her father, Ray Cramer; mother, Vera (McConnell) Foster; brother, Glen Cramer; nephew Kenny Ray Cramer; sister-in-law, Dorothy Cramer; son-in-law, Donald Ornellas and four McConnell aunts, Cora Gurley, Vay Bolinger, Wilda (Billy) Keen and Doris Sandelfur. She was also preceded by her husbands Arnold Wang, Clarence Ruff and Clay Achison. Opal leaves behind one child, Linda V. Ornellas Ray (Jerry Ray), grandson, Mitchell Lee Maness (Kellen); granddaughter, Melinda (Mindy) Ornellas; three step grandchildren, Angela Torres (Perryn), Timothy Ornellas (Jessica) and Kathy Sakata (Ron); three step great grandchildren, Anthony Graunstadt, Kimi Graunstadt and Emma Jo Stevens. She also leaves behind two brothers Kenneth Cramer and Eugene Cramer (Barbara). In addition, she leaves behind two nephews, Robert Sandefur (Molly) and Randy Cramer (Patti); one niece, Ann Cramer; two great nephews, Glen Cramer (Chrisy) and Kenney Cramer (Lori); three great great nephews, Kody, Miles and Brett Cramer and four great great nieces, Mallory, Kirsten, Bayleigh and Kiley Cramer. Viewing will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, (916) 922-5833 from 4:00-8:00pm on Friday, April 28, 2006. The funeral service and burial will also be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Foundation or Church of the First Born, P.O. Box 65, Rio Linda, CA 95673.
