Pauline Strannard Obituary

STRANNARD, Pauline
She was born on April 27, 1926, and she passed away on March 23, 2008, due to congestive heart failure. Her three children David, Diana, and Cindy and her grandchildren Simon and Sofia will never forget her devotion to them. She will be most missed by her children, grandchildren and her sons-in-law Stuart Schulz and Per-Ulf Nilsson, as well as her brother Bill Eller and sisters Shirley Vaughan and Freda Blankenship and their children and grandchildren, who were much-loved by Pauline and gave her great joy. Her close friends, and even those who were acquaintances, marveled at her quick smile, warm welcome and positive spirit. Mrs. Strannard was a school secretary for the Elk Grove Unified School District for 28 years. Many educators that crossed her office desk remember her delightful personality, unfailing courtesy and neverending willingness to help whenever needed, as well as being a thoughtful listener in times of need. Her children remain most proud of her and her love of life and all the good she instilled in them. They will carry wonderful, loving thoughts of her with them until they meet her again. If donations in her memory be made, she requested they be sent to the American Heart Association and/or to Easter Seals Association.
