Ray Osborne Obituary


OSBORNE, Ray
A native of Sacramento, he passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Reno, Nev., on September 5, 2007, at the age of 76. He was active in the Americal Legion and The Sons of The American Legion and held responsible positions in both. He served as Commander of Rio Linda Post 521, Sixth District Commander, attended many Department Conventions as a Delegate for the Post and The Sons. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou, two sisters, Marion Esteves of Sacramento and Tony Allen of Yrika, Calif., daughters Lynn Rae Martin of Portland, Ore., Cindy Lange of Ark., Sue Batchler, and Paula Anderson of Lancaster, Calif., stepchildren Cynthia Brown of Orangevale, Calif., Dwight Case of Rio Linda, Calif., Catherine Moore, and David Case of Weed, Calif., and also survived by many grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was loved by all. The family invites you to attend a memorial service 11:00 AM on Sunday, September 16, at The Americal Legion Haggin Grant Post 521, 6700 8th Street, Rio Linda, CA 95673.
