I'm very sorry to learn of Ray's passing. He was a charming & funny fellow. He loved travel & Lupe to pieces. I've recovered from my severe knee injury in March (which landed me in hospital for weeks, than a wheelchair for months). Now that I can drive again, I'll visit Lupe regularly to say 'Hello'.

I remember Ray from when I first started working in the Customer Service Department at SMUD in 1980 and he was in Estimating. He was so kind and helpful and a joy to work with over the years. I have nothing but fond memories of him and wish the family peace during this difficult time.

Ray was one the first that befriended me when I started atSMUD. He was a gentleman and a scholar. I always counted upon Ray for honest advice. I am crying as I write this.
