Bob Dias was a great person to get to talk to on the phone :) i spoke with him several times in the10 years i worked for a smaller produce warehouse (though some might say a "Superior" one ) Bob would have laughed at my silly joke. i think of him especially every Spring and Summer Solstice as he told me every year on said solstices he and his partner would share a bottle of champagne. how can you not love a guy who does that? anyway thanks Bob for being so kind and nice. we met once at Burger Point and i almost fainted when you knew who i was, you were a big deal!!! rest well Robert Dias Sr, in my book you were a class act!

Bob treated every man the same, calling them by the name "Dudley." Always had a story and would mentor the young guys in the early years of their produce careers. He and his cowboy boots will be missed!
