Bob
December 15, 2010
I was shocked and very saddened to just learn that Bob passed away in July. I had the pleasure of working with him in the Bay Area and, as his portrait showed, he always had an easy smile and a good word. He was a very bright “gadget guy,” always interested in the latest technology. He was a kind supervisor and an affable, talented, and good man. I missed him when he transferred out and miss him even more now. To his daughters and his other friends, I’m so very sorry for your loss and our loss.

Kristen, Michelle, and Lauren:
Our deepest sympathy to you and please know that all your dad talked about was his beautiful daughters. Nothing else mattered to him. Thank you Bob for being my friend, I will truly miss your smile and kind demeanor.

Bob was a fellow classmate from Sonoma Valley High School, Class of 1973. His picture on page 112 of our senior yearbook, El Padre '73, looks vertually identical, right down to his mustache. I didn't know him well, but I remember his keen interest in police science. Not many of us know what we want to do when we leave High School, but Bob's path was crystal clear. I do remember his pleasant and easy going demeanor when I did happen to talk with him during school.
My condolences to his daughters and family...

For our fellow brother. May you continue to watch over us from above. A smile will always come to our faces when we think of you.
