Roger and Tamara were our neighbors in Minnetonka, MN and we hated to see them leave. He will be missed by many in Greenbrier condos. I was trying to find their phone and found this sad obituary.

I met Roger and Tamara through Renaissance. Such a lovely couple. Roger had a kind and engaging personality and smile. There will be an empty seat at the book club dining out group and so much more. My sincere sympathy to Tamera and family.

I worked for Roger at the Minneapolis HUD office 1977 until 1983. He was one of the warmest most sincere individuals I ever met. I will always remember his smile, laugh and support. He and Tamara were the perfect match. Although I haven't seen him in years, I will miss him as he always sought to make the planet a better place.

So sad that one more Olson has passed on. If my memory is correct, I was amazed that Roger never missed one day of school, through all the grades!! As a kid, I wondered how that could be possible, and even if it was, who would want to go to school everyday??? Every year, the Olson City mice came to our farm and stayed with the country Friesen mice for a short vacation, to be followed up by a Friesen visit to the city at some time. Roger and my brother Bob were the older kids, so Lowell & I wanted to hang out with them, and follow them around the farm. Everyone knows what that means....the big ones play tricks on the younger ones, or ditch them. I guess I would have to thank Roger and my brother Bob for teaching us those skills. We were able to pass that on to Brian, since he was the littlest one. We will all miss Roger.
