Ron and I shared memories of our time in the Marine Corp. and working together at Butler Johnson. Ron is a terrific and caring person, for his family and friends. I had the distinct pleasure of knowing and working with. A time I have and will treasure. If he were alive today and asked me to come and work for him, I would in a heartbeat!
My deepest sympathy to JoAnn and the family. All my love and if you need anything please call.
RIP and Semper Fi my friend!!

JoAnn and family,
You have my sympathy and prayers in the days ahead. Ron was my roommate and teammate at Wyoming Seminary back in 1951-52.
We celebrated a lot of good times together. I still remember his visits to our family farm in Pennsylvania and the pleasure he got going horseback riding. Like anything athletic, he mastered it in a heartbeat.
I was happy and proud to count him as my friend. God Speed to you and the family.

I was so blessed to have worked with Ron at Butler-Johnson for many years. He taught me so much with all his knowledge. He was a very dear friend,
and I will never forget his kindness.

Dear Beagle Family:

I am a former Marine Officer ( not a graduate of the academy) but very close to many who were like Ron. As a youngster growing up in California I got very interested in college football in the mid 1950's and have followed it since. Ron was one of my favorites and I have always supported and embraced academy athletics. I lived and worked in Maryland for over 30 years and have many friends in the Annapolis area having lived in Baltimore and on the Eastern Shore. I am a Rocklin and Placer County native with an undergrad degree from Cal. Please accept my sympathy for your enormous loss. My active duty USMC years were 1965 to 1969 with a tour and a half in Vietnam as a Platoon Commander and Battalion staff officer. Again my thoughts are with you and yours... Ron would appreciate a good "Semper Fi" from another Marine.....
