Roy Hancock Obituary

HANCOCK, Roy Thomas
Passed away in an automobile accident at the age of 53 on Wednesday January 19, 2005. Roy was born February 27, 1951 in Butte, Montana. Roy relocated to West Sacramento with his family at an early age. Cherished son of Leroy Hancock and is preceded in death by his beloved mother Ethel Hancock, both of West Sacramento. Dearly beloved father of Bryce and Annie Hancock, the loving brother of Terry Hancock, brother-in-law to Elaine Hancock, uncle to Amber and Matthew Hancock and Lindsay and Matthew Mercer, and loving companion of Jina Fergus. Roy was a former co-owner of West Sacramento Rentals. He was outgoing and always willing to donate his time for the community. He was an active member of the California Rental Association and enjoyed sponsoring and coaching little league teams. Roy was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed being a handyman and jack of all trades. He was deeply loved and memories of him will be cherished in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Roy's generous and giving heart, the family suggests donations may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church or School. Friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Monday Jan. 24, 2005 at 7:00pm at Our Lady of Grace Church, 911 Park Blvd., West Sacramento, CA., 95691.
