Ruth Burkinshaw Obituary
July 14, 1920 - August 8, 2023
Sacramento, California - Ruth passed away at the age of 103. She was born in San Francisco to Russell and Oleen Dingley in 1920 and was the third of of 3 children (Louise & Randall). She was preceded in death by her loving husband Wayne of 72 years and their daughter Linda Ashley. Ruth is survived by her daughter Cynthia Crow (Rick) and her 4 grandchildren, Bret Ashley (Naomi), Erin Ashley (Stephen), David Crow, Natalie Rosenbaum and 3 great granddaughters Alexis & Karissa Ashley and Emmy Rosenbaum. Ruth was a homemaker and later an office manager for 20 years. They resided in Pleasant Hill for 30 years and retired to Pioneer and Sacramento. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking and spending time with her 4 grandchildren. A private graveside burial is planned.

I treasure the childhood memories of times spent with the Burkinshaw family. They were wonderful friends to my parents for so many years. I miss those simpler times, and will remember them forever.
