Senon Tillo Obituary


TILLO, SR. SENON C.
Peacefully passed away on July 31, 2002 here in Sacramento. A loving and great husband, father, grand, and great-grandfather. He was a retired 2nd Lieutenant who served for thirty years in the Philippine Army. He was also a WWII Veteran and a prisoner of war during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. He was a Project Coordinator and Chief Mechanic of the Motor Vehicle Section during the EDCOR Project in Mindanao, Philippines. He worked under the administration of President Ramon Magsaysay Rehabilitation Program with the Philippine Government. He came to the USA in 1975 and worked as a Food Assistant and Property Custodian for the world famous Tarantino's Seafood Restaurant in San Francisco for more than nine years. He loved fishing and going to Reno. He relocated in Sacramento in 1986 with several of his children. In addition to his children, he also leaves twenty grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Friends are welcome to his visitation on Sunday, August 4, 2002 from 12:00-7:00 PM with recitation of the rosary at 6:00 PM as well as his Funeral Mass on Monday, August 5, 2002 at 11:00 AM both at SACRAMENTO GARDEN CHAPEL MORTUARY, 6100 Stockton Blvd. Interment immediately following at SACRAMENTO MEMORIAL LAWN.
