Linda and the Luna Family,
I want to express my sympathy to all that loved Steve at this difficult time. I hope you find comfort in knowing that Steve is at rest in Gods loving hands and that our thoughts and prayers are with you. I am very grateful that your family included me in Steve’s last days with us. He was a wonderful friend to me and my family. Those we hold most dear to us never truly leave. Our memories of them especially the little things keep them in our hearts forever.
Steve, you are a remarkable person, I will never forget that compassion you had for the people you cared about. Your contagious smile and vibrant personality were a rare gift and treasure to me. This is such a loss; my heart goes out to Linda and all that loved you. I witnessed the special love you bestowed on all your friends. You painted my house for me laughing all the way through it, we have had some great times. I personally was blessed to see how awesome you are, you would show up at the strangest times when I was feeling down and say come on, lets go somewhere, to Cash Creek or Truck stop to eat, or some little whole in the wall place where everyone was happy and I would forget my troubles, you were such a clown and never took no for an answer. I taught you to make menudo, beans, rice, and I will never forget how happy you were, and how you couldn’t wait to make it for your family and friends by yourself. I had the opportunity to hear how deeply you impacted so many of your friends' lives; this is a great testimony of how Steve lived a giving life.
May God be especially near to each of you bringing peace to fill your hearts. I will remember you always Steve, and miss you even more till we meet again in Heaven. Steve, May you laugh with the Saints, dance with the Angels, and rest with the Lord.
With Love, Dianne Medina and Family.

Steve, I only learned today of your passing. My heartfelt thoughts go out to your wife, Linda your son and your family. I have known you since kindergarten and I haven't seen you for over 20 years, but you were always a good and loyal friend. You had the gift of humor, and could always liven up a room with your jokes and silly faces you would make. I think that that and your kindness to others and your good heart is what most people who knew you will remember. You will be dearly missed. God be with you my old friend.

I want to say to the Luna family how sorry I am for the loss of Steve. I have known Steve ever since I can remember growing up on Elder Drive. I spent last New Years with Steve and his beautiful wife Linda. I am thankful I have that memory. Herb, Mike, Mrs. Luna, and especially to Linda, I am so sorry for your loss.
Always,

Stevie, that's how I remember you from Elder Drive. Our families may have lost touch years ago but the memories of growing up with you in Broderick will always be fondly remembered.

Uncle Steve, some of the best times I can remember were at your old house by Sunrise when I was just a teenager. I'll always remember the stories you'd tell, and how you would have everyone around laughing until it hurt. The stories were so unbelievable and stupid, but you knew they were true and that's what made them so funny. Your stories always included you impersonating someone, and I'll never forget the funny faces you would make when acting out the story.
You were the first one to help out the family (especially if we were painting or needed help moving something), and you never wanted anything in return. You would just say how much you loved to help out the family...and would always leave saying "I love you guys".
Thanks for all the great memories,
I love you and miss you....
Your nephew,
Danny
