I consider myself lucky I got to know Steve during our highschool days in Sacramento. Steve was a fabulous guy and always fun to be around, especially during our junior year on the bowling team. I'm so sad to read of your passing. My warmest wishes for your family during this incredibily difficult time.

Marcy and the entire Freer Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and the pain you are all going through. I am comforted with knowing that he is not suffering any longer, but also wish he were still here.
I was the "kid sister" of Ron Carda that always tagged along with their litte group while a teenager. I remember him being the jokester and full of life and laughter.
Rest in peace Steven and I hope you are laughing and telling jokes again along side the many loved ones we have lost.
Marcy and Uncle Bob...please know that you are loved and that you are in my thoughts and prayers always.
Love Always...

R.I.P., Steve. Back in the day, you always had a joke to tell or said something to bring a smile to my face.

"It is with great sorrow and sadness of hearing of Steve's passing. While growing up in Sacramento, Steve and I were the best of friends in grade school until our family was transferred to Southern California after 6th grade. Steve was not only a kind and gentle person but a phenomenal athlete. I will always cherish our days playing baseball together at Arcade Little League , the numerous rounds of golf we played as kids at Haggin Oaks and the many sleepovers that had when we were "little guys". Our blessings to the entire Freer Family especially to his wife and two daughters and a special blessing to Steve's Dad(Bob) who I was unaware had lost his wife, Dolores.

To Marcy, Bob, Rebekah, Samantha, and the entire Freer family,
I am so sorry to hear about Steve. My deepest condolences for your loss. I have so many memories of Steve, playing with us in our yard as kids, golfing, and, more recently, residing in the home I grew up in.
Also, please accept my belated condolences for the loss of Dolores, which I just heard about recently.
I hope your family can find peace and comfort in this difficult time.
