Steven Hough Obituary

HOUGH, Steven J.
Mr. Steven J. Hough died on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at Stanford Medical Center, after a lengthy battle with leukemia. Born on October 19, 1954, in Camden, New Jersey, he was 50 years old. Mr. Hough worked for 29 years in engineering, maintenance, and management, most recently as a tomato operations engineer for Campbell Soup Company. He has been a resident of Davis for the past 11 years. Mr. Hough is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Holland Hough of Davis, his son, Steven Charles Hough of Pennsylvania, his daughter, Laura Elizabeth Hough of Davis, his mother Phyllis Pere and her husband John of Lumberton, New Jersey, and his father David H. Hough and his wife Jackie of San Diego, California. Mr. Hough is further survived by his sister Jan Bottcher of Ridgewood, New Jersey, and his brother David A. Hough of Bellevue, Washington.Friends are welcomed to visit with the family on Saturday, April 16, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Davis Community Church, located at 412 C Street in Davis. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow in the Davis Community Church Fellowship Hall. Remembrances may be made in Mr. Hough's name to Yolo Hospice, PO Box 1014, Davis, CA 95617. A virtual guestbook may be signed at www.davisfuneral.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel.

Liz, I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I just found out about it today, April 26 so I am a little late. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Laura and Steven. His wit and dry humor will be missed by all.

Hello Laura and Liz.



So sorry I could not make the service today, Jonathan was sick and running a temp. I was sorry to hear about Steven (Husband, Father, & Friends). Steven was sure a great guy and I always enjoyed talking with him the few times I saw him when he pick up Laura after babysitting for us. Steven you will be miss and thank you for being a wonderful Father, & Husband. You will be truely missed. (Laura & Liz) If we can do any thing at all for you and your family please call us, I hope to see you all soon and have Laura back to be the wonderful baby sitter she is.
