Nancy Jane Stormer

Nancy was born to George C. and Della J. Price on her mother's birthday, January 25,1932, in Sacramento, CA.Nancy's elder brother was Delbert Barker.

Nancy started school at Hagginwood Elementary in Sacramento, CA. Her family moved to Bandon, OR, when she was nine and she graduated from Coquille High School.

On January 10, 1953, Nancy married Jackson D. Stormer and they started their family.

While raising her family, Nancy had a lot of fun as an active member of The Native Daughters of the Golden West.

She went to college to become a nurse. She worked for four decades as a nurse in Yuba City, CA, and Marysville, CA.

In 1968, Nancy began contributing to worship services at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Tahoe City, CA, by playing the organ for services.

She continued playing for Worship services until 2023. Fifty-five years is a wonderful contribution to the worship of the Lord.

Nancy's husband of seventy years, Jackson, preceded her in death on January 8, 2025. Also preceding her in death was her dear friend, Christina Jepsen Hill. They had been best of friends since age eleven. Nancy's son-in-law, Michael preceded her.

Nancy is survived by her children, Kathleen Edwards (Chris), Edward Stormer, Christine Stormer, Ralph Stormer, and Gretchen Stormer(Tom); four grandchildren, Camille Scott(Troy), Campbell Edwards, Spencer Curto (Megan), and Greta Stormer; great-grandchildren, Kimo Acadiz, Mackenzie Scott, Tucker Scott, and Olivia Curto; and her dear friend, of 84 years, Faye Albertson of Coquille, OR.

Nancy will be missed by the many other friends that she has made throughout her rich life.
