It´s hard to believe it´s been 5 years. I will always remember the love Ted had surrounding him. It was heartwarming to see his family taking turns being by his side at a very important transition on his journey.
One of Ted´s Caregivers,

Ted and I worked in the same Telephone Co. building at 14th & J . He was in management and I was just a little worker bee in a different department . That didn't matter at all . When I celebrated 17 years with the phone company and became a "Pioneer" , Ted came to my office and told ( not asked ) my boss he was taking me to lunch . That was one of the high points of my career . I don't know how he found out and it certainly wasn't his job to do that but that's just the kind of guy Ted was . I will never forget that

My condolences to Ted's family. I was not able to attend the funeral or gathering however I have a group picture of Ted when he studied at Mont La Salle to be a Christian Brother in 1950, though it was for a short time. I would be happy to get that picture to you; just call me at 916 929-1973; or email [email protected]

My mom, Norberta Bamford (Walery) would like to send her condolences, she is so sorry for your loss. Ted was a close and dear friend to her brother Norris. May our heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus be especially close to all, giving comfort and the peace that surpasses all understanding during this time of loss.

Ted was a brother-in-arms,a friend and a mentor.I spent many hours sitting by the pool with him learning about work, life and other worldly things. He was one of my heroes and will always be remembered and missed.

Ted was an inspiration to me about what a Catholic man should be. His smile, his care for Sue and his children, and his respect for every person he met, made everybody's life better.
