Thomas Pera Obituary
November 4, 1975 - October 19, 2022
Sacramento, California - Thomas "Tom" William Pera- devoted Husband, Father of three, loyal Son and friend to many- passed away at UC Davis Medical Center on October 19, 2022, at the age of 46, due to complications from Leukemia. He was surrounded by his loving family who will continue to honor his legacy of positively impacting the lives of others.
Born on November 4, 1975 in South Lake Tahoe, Tom moved with his family to Carmichael in 1977 where he attended local schools and graduated from El Camino High School. He worked in Sales with Dreyer's Ice Cream before moving to the agricultural industry as a Feed Commodity Broker with Frontier Ag Company in Davis.
Tom passed away far too young, leaving the wife he adored, Robyn, his three exceptional children TJ, Isaac and Gabby, his devoted parents Tom and Linda Pera and his cat Miss Meow.
In his free time, Tom loved finding new destinations to explore, often planned day trips and spontaneous car rides. He also enjoyed building intricate model cars at the kitchen table, cooking for his family, fun dates with the love of his life, and spending time with his kids watching them grow into wonderful people. He had dreams of hiking to a waterfall with Robyn, taking each of his children to the casino for their 21st birthdays, and going on an Alaskan Cruise.
He encompassed gentleness, respect, amiability and always brought a sense of inclusion to everyone he met. Tom will be greatly missed by all who knew him including family, friends, co-workers, and business associates.
Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 5057 Cottage Way, Carmichael, Friday October 28th at 10am. Reception to follow.
Flowers to Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. In his memory, donations can also be made in Tom's name to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Tommy & my brother we´re best friend as kids. I had a crush on him in elementary school, always loved a funny guy. We would always be laughing when he joined our family on camping trips. As an adult, we reconnected on facebook & really connected. He had always stopped by my parent´s house through the years but I hadn´t seen him since high school. He helped me through my divorce, and the death of each of my parents. He always told them he wanted to raise his kids the way he saw we had been. I never got to meet his children but he adored them & didn´t want to mess that up. He was a good guy, although he never told me that he was sick, he actually had told me it was his dad, I think so that I wouldn´t worry. It was when my dad passed that he said he had just gotten home from having his last round of chemo that I realized he hadn´t told me the truth. I know that he was trying to save me the heartache since I had already gone through so much in the recent years. I was shocked when I learned of his passing. It still doesn´t seem right, but it´s so fitting that he would be taken too soon, the good ones always are. I hope his family finds comfort in knowing how many people loved him. I know my family all did. He will be missed by many, forever.

I'm his son tj his eldest and I miss him dearly, we used to kayaking once in a while and it would be fun, he would take photos of me and after we would go get food at chiles. i realy do miss him a lot and am grateful with the time I've had with him, love you lots dad and I really miss you ^^

We will always remember Tom. Tom was a very special part our family for 20+ years. Tom was the type of person that no matter how much time passed between visits we could start up a conversation like no time passed at all. Tom was an amazing father to TJ, Isaac & Gabby, his legacy will live on through them. Tom will be greatly missed by our entire family. TJ, Isaac & Gabby- wishing you comfort in the days ahead, we love you Aunt Tess & Uncle Ricko REST IN PARADISE TOM- you will be greatly missed. To the Pera family please accept our condolences.

Tommy, you will be forever missed. My condolences to Linda and Tom, Robyn and your sweet children. My heart goes out to you all. I will never forget our wonderful vacation memories to Black Butte when we were young. You always made me laugh and were always the sweetest friend.
