Timothy Riehl Obituary

October 28, 1977 December 27, 2018 Resident of Campbell, California Born Oct. 28, 1977, our beautiful, beautiful boy left us too soon Dec. 27, 2018, after valiantly fighting a massive heart infection with complications. Beloved son to Mary Jo and Steve Riehl. Loving husband to Debbie and loving son-in-law to Dung and Tony Luu. Loving brother to Peter (Monica) and John (Tricia). Loving grandson to Rose and Joe Albanese (deceased), Mary Riehl (deceased) and William Riehl. Beloved nephew to Mary Anne and Gerry Campos, Joe and Suzy Riehl, and Tony and Siobhan Riehl. Loving cousin to numerous Riehls/Albaneses', loving uncle to JT, Claire, Audrey, and Chris Riehl. God-father to several of his many friends' children. Dogfather to Nuschler, his canine son and the world's most loyal dog. Graduate of Jesuit High School and member of Santa Clara University class of 2000. Outstanding athlete and avid sports fan, particularly the Giants and a frustrated 49ers' season ticket holder. A loyal, selfless, and faithful friend, he left a mark literally and figuratively with those he loved, like his uncle and Godfather John Albanese, with an Italian" happy to see you" punch to the gut. Lover of all things Italian, especially Sinatra, the Godfather trilogy, his grandmother Rose's cooking, and creator of his own life-changing polpette omelet. His dry, cool wit kept you on your toes. Special thanks to the Nelson family of companies for treating Tim like family, especially Melissa, and to the staff of the Cardiac ICU at UCSF for their incredible loving care. The world was a better place because of Tim, and he will be greatly missed by all that had the great fortune to know him. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 4, at Bellarmine College Prep, Leontyne Chapel, 960 West Hedding Street, San Jose, CA, 95126. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to jesuithighschool.webconnex.com or mysantaclara.scu.edu or your local SPCA. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Lima & Campagna Sunnyvale Mortuary, Sunnyvale, CA. 408-736-1315.

Tim and I knew each other professionally and was incredible at execution while maintaining a great attitude. He even took me out for lunch after I found the job with his immense help. He left a legacy. He will be in my heart.
