Dear Fred, Irene, Jean, Janet, Victor, Steven and your respective families,

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the passing of Toyoko-san. She was a very special and supportive person. I know that we all age, but she seemed ageless to me.
I have so many fond memories of spending together with your family----especially when were growing up as neighbors on Haggin Avenue.
My mom was right when she would often say, "Toyoko-san and the Kushida Family were the best neighbors we could ever have."
You are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

We are very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Growing up across the street from your family on Clipper Way, and after we moved away, it was always nice knowing the Kushida family was a mainstay of the neighborhood. Patti, Karen, and Kellie (Boring). Our thoughts are with all of you.
