Troy...We'll catch up again someday Troy. Your time here was cut way too short but I know you're making people laugh where ever you are. I'll miss hearing you say "hey g, come in here (office)" because I knew a good youtube video was about to be shared. Its good to know we have the same sense of humor. You made work fun and I cant thank you enough for that. You have no idea, or maybe you do know, how much your missed. You're a special person and I'm glad we got to spend so many good times here at work. As you would always say...See you next Tuesday...g

I grew up with Troy as family friends. Went on a lot of vacations with him, his sister and family. They were like a ext. family to the mattsons which are my family. Troy was always happy and positive. That's what I remember of him and he was a great listener. His celebration of life today was very sad. He left the world way to early, but like someone said the lord has the final say. I hope he's up there happy and ran into my grandma Keith who was very close to him. He will be greatly missed. God bless you Troy.

Troy's path crossed mine in Circulation Customer Service so many years ago. Throughout the years that followed, Troy always had a warm hello and a smile. His smile showed on his entire face. An amazing human being. This world needs more Troys.

Harry and Sylvia..i just learned of Troy's death today. i remember him so well..back in the day..as such a bright..supercharged kid. he always impressed me mightily. and from what i read here..he built on those gifts well..as an adult. too young..too soon..too sad. you know i've been there too..in such a place so hard to accept. my heart and deepest sympathies are with you both. My deepest condolences to the West and Redondo families. Troy was a great person to work with and a good friend. He worked hard, provided support to all, and built solid friendships at The Bee. He would laugh with you, laugh at you; share good times, endure difficult times; accept challenges head-on and celebrate successes.

We will miss Troy. It seems like yesterday you invited me to your 21st birthday...some 23 years ago. This friendship lasted a long time. Your sense of humor and personality always made me laugh. I met and worked with Troy 25 years ago when he joined the Bee. His outgoing personality and infectious smile was already well honed. He must have been born with a grin. A tad short but darn cool. Rest in peace Troy.

My condolences. Troy always welcomed me and my family to the West Holiday meals in Roseville. I first met Troy in Tokyo, always a thoughtful and polite young man. Troy had a quick wit, was very well read and just a very nice individual.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was just looking at facebook a few days ago and someone posted a picture of a bunch of people from Oakmont and I saw Troy and thought of him. I went to jr high with him and I will always remember how kind and sympathetic he was when my dad was suddenly killed during my jr high year. He signed a nice card and I had a bunch of classes with him. He was always a great guy, always smiling. Someone that you wanted to be around and like I said ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE. His death is such a loss he was my age. I am so sorry he is a great great smart guy.
