Dawson
William Dawson Carpenter, US Army veteran, retired FBI agent of 20yrs, avid sportsman and sports fan passed away this past Sunday 3/17 at age 76 after a long illness with Parkinson's disease. Bill graduated from St John's Prep School in Danvers, MA where he played baseball & basketball. He went on to play basketball and graduate from Boston College. He also enjoyed tennis and skiing. Bill was best known for his good humor, sincere kindness, and sometimes charming omissions. He leaves behind a wife, Jennie Chieng and a stepson, Darrel Madison. Predeceased by his parents, William H. Carpenter, Aletta D. Carpenter and his sister, Jan Mangione. Survived by his brother, Don L. Carpenter, 3 nephews and 1 niece. His presence in our lives will be greatly missed.
Funeral Mass will be held 1:45 pm Sat, March 23 @ Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 2231 Club Center Dr. Sacramento, CA 95835. Burial plans are being made for early May near his original hometown in Massachusetts @ Mosswood Cemetery in Cotuit, MA.
