So very sorry for your loss!
A flood of memories came over me as I realized this was THE Mr. Holdender from my young years, my friend Melissa's dad. He seemed a man of few words, but he was pleasant to me and others in our lil' gang (despite our raucous natures :-).
Although the loss doesn't diminish, I hope your fondest memories of him help to comfort you guys in the times to come, knowing what a good, long life he had.

Although I did not know Mr. Holdener, I would like to express my condolences to his family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss. I promise that I will pray for your family tonight. (John 11:1-44)
